Building their Financial Advisor Network

The Challenge

Commonwealth Bank needed to ensure that every financial adviser that wanted to sell their Funds products first completed the specific Fund exam. They also needed to have this as an ongoing record for compliance purposes.

The Strategy

Having worked with Commonwealth Bank for many years we have an understanding of their security and compliance needs.

We first undertook a discovery phase with key executives to ensure that the platform we were to build would meet all stakeholder requitements. It was not sufficient just to provide a platform for the financial advisors but also to move more of the clients and potential investors onto a paperless platform.

The Results

We built a an easy to use digital education and compliance platform for their Financial Advisors.

The platform dovetailed with their legacy systems for marketing their specified fund management products. The platform was password protected with a unique encrypted log in. It securely housed the digital assets for the advisors including the exam, compliance requirements, marketing materials to use with their clients and by utilising our proprietary software were also able to provide a more interactive experience for their advisors and investors.

We were able to provide a complete “paperless” solution for marketing the fund products that helped to increase take up by over 35% in the first eight weeks.
