The Challenge
Scentre Group was created on 30 June 2014 through the merger of Westfield Retail Trust and Westfield Group’s Australian and New Zealand management business. It was critical for the business to establish its own identity and engage its digital savvy investors with its inaugural 2015 Shareholder Review.
The Strategy
Interactive Investor created a fully responsive and interactive Shareholder Review site. An animated homepage banner features the key strategy and theme for 2015 results. Taking the print assets and effectively translating them into a seamless digital platform that includes an animated timeline of key highlights for the business viewable across PC, iPad and mobile.
The Results
The responsive platform has attracted a high digital viewership with many thousands accessing the report from both PC and mobiles on its release. With the ever increasing use of mobile phones by digital savvy investors (mobile use is predicted to surpass PC by end of 2015) the ability for the report to be viewed on mobile is increasingly important.
